How to get more credit on your fuel man card than you were approved for

As a new trucking company, you may be limited to how much credit you will receive from creditors because you are new. This can be a problem if the amount of credit you are approved for is less than what your weekly fuel expense is. Fuel man has a few different payment terms such as net 7, net 30, etc. If by any chance you are approved for a net 7 that mean you will have to pay the balance off every 7 days. If you find that most of your revenue is going toward other expenses such as commercial insurance, and lease notes you may have a hard time keeping up with the net 7 payment terms on your fuel card. Before you hit the limit on the fuel card call Fuelman's customer service and ask them for a temporary credit extension. They will have to get the extension approved but they will normally approve it if you promise to make a payment the next day or so.
